Concord Friendly’s Restaurant Re-Opens

CONCORD, N.H. (Grassroots Newswire) May 3, 2010 – The Friendly’s restaurant located at 147 Loudon Road in Concord will reopen on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 6 a.m. The restaurant was rebuilt after being destroyed by fire in October of 2009.
The new 3,600 square-foot restaurant will provide additional seating for guests, energy-efficient lighting, and a new carryout and outside patio seating area. In addition, General Manager, Douglas Bisson, will head a team of about 100 full-time and part-time workers, says Jim Marr, region director for Friendly’s.
“This restaurant has been a fixture in the Concord-area community since April of 1986 and we want to thank the community for its support during our rebuilding process,” Marr said. “We’re thrilled to be back and we think our guests will really enjoy the new restaurant and especially the new carry-out window, where guests will be able to order all their favorites.
“Friendly’s is the place where families come to share great food and ice cream, celebrate good report cards or gather after a baseball game or recital. With our 75th anniversary approaching, we’re reminded on how lucky we are to be able to be a part of so many of our guests special memories,” Marr said. The local Friendly’s restaurant hours will be 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday – Thursday, and 6 a.m. – 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
